At the beginning of blessthefall’s performance, the lead singer asked how many of us had a mother or father that was never in our life. A good half of the crowd, including my boyfriend and I, raised our hands. Then he asked ” How many of you guys plan on being better parents than yours ever were!?”, without hesitation everyone raised their hands. I think that is a good sign that this future generation is not going to be a “screwup, rebeling, opositional” generation. Instead, we will learn to be better than the people who told us that we do not care about the world,and we will raise our children the way we wish we were.
